Toys For Tots!
It’s the holiday season!
We got just 24 days until Christmas! Which, for me, is super exciting! Christmas is my favorite holiday! But, regardless of what holiday you celebrate, everyone deserves to have an awesome holiday! That said, not everyone is able to unwrap a gift on their respective holiday. So every year, Shannon and I donate a couple of toys to Toys For Tots! This way we can help do our part in trying to make someone’s holiday a bit more special! Here’s Toys For Tots’ mission according to their site!
The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
So, we invite you guys to take the time to donate a toy! Now, as you can see, the toy is delivered on Christmas, which may not align with your own personal holiday, but the idea still remans that it’ll help make someone’s day a bit more special.
Toys For Tots only takes new, unopened toys so keep that in mind! Around us, Toys R Us usually has a bin where you can drop off toys as well as other department starts like Target and Walmart to name a couple.
